The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) launched a powerful offensive at the Al-Sha'ar Gas Fields on Monday morning that targeted wells 101, 103, and 105 under the Syrian Arab Army's (SAA) control. ISIS began the assault by launching their usual VBIED (vehicle borne improvised explosive device) at the Syrian Arab Army's defenses in the vicinity of Well 105; this terrorist attack was halted before it could reach its intended target. The Syrian Armed Forces were able to drive back the terrorist forces after the latter failed to infiltrate their positions on Monday. According to a military source at the T-4 Military Airport, the Syrian Armed Forces killed a confirmed 19 ISIS terrorists, including a handful of foreign terrorists. https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/syrian-army-beats-back-isis-al-shaar-gas-fields/ Al-Masdar News
